Building the Psychological Strength of Front-line Responders
A trauma and evidence-informed, peer-led psychological health awareness training program designed by and for first responders across Canada.

The Resilient Minds® program increases the ability of first responders to:

Recognize effects of psychological stress/trauma with self and peers

Understand trauma-informed practices

Communicate with peers who may be struggling

Respond safely and appropriately to distressed citizens

Apply personal strategies for managing stress, mitigating trauma and boosting resilience

Our Programs



Train-the-Trainer Courses
21-hour course | Maximum 20 participants
$875/per person (grants are available to heavily subsidize this cost)

This course prepares and certifies in-house champions to become peer Instructors to deliver the Resilient Minds course to their department.
​
Co-instructed by a certified CMHA and Peer Trainer. Contact us for details.

Note: Participation does require membership in a recognized fire service and sponsorship from that department's training division or leadership.

Resilient Minds Course
8-hour course | Maximum 20 participants
$225.00/per person (grants are available to heavily subsidize this cost)

This course is delivered by a lived experience Peer Instructor or Instructor Trainer provided through CMHA.
